Alfred Mannino

April 29, 1949 — October 4, 2025

Alfred Thomas Mannino (Al) departed this world October 4, 2025. Al was born on April 29, 1949, as the eldest child of Alfred A. and Dorothy Cavanagh Mannino.

Raised in New Jersey and Connecticut, Al was a lifeguard as well as an avid athlete, playing football both at Stamford Catholic HS and for Villanova University. He was an accomplished ballroom dancer as well as a Black Belt in Karate.

In Al's early career he enjoyed traveling throughout the country as a pharmaceutical sales representative. He was able to keep traveling representing medical supplies and equipment through Davol Medical Supply, Dacomed and Mentor. Continuing his career with Rochester Medical brought him to Rochester where he later worked for Home Federal Savings Bank for many years as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Through Home Federal he had a passion of finding ways to support the community with sponsorships and volunteering. Due to Al's expertise, he served on the board business advisors working on Mayo Clinic's Destination Medical Center. Al took great pride in this experience.

Al leaves behind his wife Peggy, daughters Jennifer Mannino (Nick Shepard), Alyssa (Scott) Ross, and Cara (Chris) Largen and four grandchildren. Also, brother Ed (Linda) Mannino of Dahlonega GA, and sister Alice (Terry) Garnett of Prescott, AZ, as well as several loving nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held with the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Al's name.
