Chris was born in Arroyo Grade California on 2/27/1973 to Linda Pasion Severn. He grew up in California on the farm with his grandparents, Leonardo and Anastasia Pasion. He graduated from Arroyo Grande High School in 1991. He started working for various Security companies in California. He also did some schooling in California along with Minnesota due to the work schedule he could not finish.

Chris passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota on 3/9/2026. He had spent the last 4 months in the hospital due to having sepsis, along with wounds that would not heal. He also got an infection in his heart, that affected his kidneys. He was optimistic about getting better. Chris was 53 years and 10 days old.

Chris was married to Heidi Madsen on July 26th, 2008, in Fairmont, Minnesota. Chris and Heidi never had any Children. They both love their cats. Kee Kat came with Chris from California. Chris and Heidi lived in Eden Prairie, Minnesota from 2008 to 2012 and moved to Rochester, Minnesota. Kee Kat passed in October of 2021 of kidney failure. Then adopted Iris from Paws and Claws in October of 2021.

Chris and Heidi met over the phone and talked for about 3 months before meeting in person. Chris would sing to Heidi over the phone. The one song he sang was Cross My Heart by George Strait, and that was when he had Heidi's heart.

Chris had a love for sports, football, basketball, and baseball. His favorite teams were the Raiders, Lakers, Dodgers, and many others to name. He also was into Star Wars and collected many items. He also collected sports souvenirs, had many hats, jerseys, and other collections.

Chris liked to target shoot when we would go to the family farm. Harvey would set up targets to shoot at. He also would shoot at the barn on the farm. He enjoyed being on the farm.

Chris worked in security while he lived here in Minnesota, along with working as a guard with Rochester Armored. He worked with various companies in the Twin Cities and Rochester areas.

Chris worked in security and working on call at the time of his death due to his health issues.

Chris proceeded in death of his grandparents, Leonardo and Anastasia Pasion. Along with his in-laws, Harvey and Nancy Madsen; a sister-in-law, Lisa Madsen who he personally never got to know but learned about her through his wife's family.

Chris is survived by his Wife, Heidi Pasion of Rochester, MN; mother, Linda Serven of Arroyo Grande, CA; brother, Joshua Serven of Arroyo Grande, CA; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins in many different locations.
