Constance Grant

Constance "Connie" Marie Grant was born on March 18, 1961, in Belcourt, North Dakota, on the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Reservation. Connie was deeply proud of her heritage, her roots, and her beloved family. A true "Jill of all trades," Connie was no stranger to hard work, often balancing multiple jobs at once to care for and support those around her.

Beyond her exceptional work ethic, Connie embraced each day with energy and passion. She loved to dance, shared laughter freely, and lived life to its absolute fullest. To know Connie was to adore her; she was widely cherished as one of the kindest, yet most refreshingly honest, people you could ever meet. Her warmth, sincerity, and generous spirit left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path.

Connie is survived by her children, Alisa Hawkins and her husband, Jerry Hawkins, along with their five children: Jerry Jr., Julie, Joseph, Jerricho, and Jade. Danielle Bruns and her partner, Rick Wolverton, along with their children: Alexander Bruns, Dominick Bruns, and Jacob Wolverton. Luis Martinez (son-in-law, husband of the late Brenda Martinez) and Brenda's four children: Cierra, Cilicia, Cruz, and Cortez; siblings, Marla, Myrna, Spencer, Richard, Beverly, Loren, Alisa, Melissa and Rickell; an ever-growing legacy of great-grandchildren, spouses, and a large extended family who held her dear.

She was preceded in death by: her beloved daughter, Brenda Martinez; her mother, Dolores LaFrombois; her father, Richard Grant; her brothers, Mark Grant, David Grant, and Thomas Malaterre; her sisters, Sherry Stevens and Peggy Malaterre; many other cherished family members.
