Darsa Marie Fiek

Darsa Marie Lenn Fiek passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026 at Edenbrook Pine Haven in Pine Island, her home for 30 years, due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursday, June 18, at Maxon Family Cremation & Life Celebrations in Rochester, MN, with a Rosary service at 3:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am on Friday, June 19, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Pine Island, MN.

Darsa was born on December 7, 1955 to Charles and Charlyne Lenn. She grew up in Pine Island, MN.

As the oldest of seven, she was always deeply loved and admired by all of younger siblings. Darsa was a shining light of joy and positivity. Her life was not defined by the challenges that were laid in front of her, but by her grace in embracing those challenges with gratitude, with faith and with a loving heart. She was proud of her devout faith in Jesus Christ and trusted the path her life was to follow. She didn't waiver in her faith when she was diagnosed with MS at the young age of 28. She maintained a positive outlook no matter how difficult the situation.

Darsa found joy with the little things in daily life. She loved Mountain Dew, pepperoni pizza with green olives, fancy jewelry, her watches, playing cards and bingo. Darsa was the embodiment of shared joy is double joy. She always had treats and candy bars ready for any of her visitors. Her laugh was contagious and she was known to break into song on a whim! She knew every verse to Amazing Grace - her favorite song.

Due to her medical diagnosis, Darsa's journey through motherhood didn't look the same as others but her eyes still lit up when she talked about her son and granddaughter. She was the proud mother of her son, Judd Fiek, and grandmother to Amber. Darsa's family meant the world to her and she loved them all dearly.

Darsa is now able to walk into the arms of her father, her mother and her younger brother in a body that is free from so much of the discomfort she faced here on earth. She is probably able to tell them she really "feels like a million bucks."

Darsa Marie Lenn Fiek is survived by her son Judd Fiek and granddaughter Amber Kingsley, her six siblings: Jon (Kate) Lenn of Pine Island, MN, Brian (Carol) Lenn of Rochester, MN, Terri (Rick) Schacht of Shelbyville, TN; Greg (Karen) Lenn of Little Falls, MN, Corey (Dawn) Lenn of Zumbrota, MN, Beth Hatfield of Faribault, MN, and her very dear friend Sue Klopp who had always been a shining light in Darsa's life. Darsa was preceded in death by her father, Charles, her mother, Charlyne; and younger brother, Christopher.
