Elaine Marie DeMoss

Elaine (Johnson) DeMoss, 78, of Rochester, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026.

Born in Columbus, Nebraska, Elaine lived a life rooted in faith, family, and kindness. A devoted Lutheran, she found strength and comfort in her faith throughout her life. She was also an avid reader who cherished the joy and inspiration found in books.

Elaine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, LeRoy "Butch" DeMoss, in 2011.

She is survived by her son, Sean DeMoss; her brothers, Meryl Johnson and Alan Johnson; and her sister, Ann (Johnson) Adams.

Elaine will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and love for her family. Her memory will remain a blessing to all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, July 10, 2026 with visitation one hour prior at Maxon Family Cremation & Life Celebrations.
