Jessica Kay Otto

Jessica Kay Otto, age 52, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 12, 2026. She was born on April 7, 1974, in Zumbrota, MN.

Jessica was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and compassion touched the lives of many.  She shared her life with her husband, Jason Otto, and was a devoted mother to her sons, Bailey Otto and Brayden Otto (Delaney Koppmann).  She was a proud grandmother to three grandchildren, Maryn, Paisley, and Harper, who brought tremendous joy to her life.  

Jessica is also survived by her grandmother, Mary Ann Banks, her mother Deborah Banks, her brother, Jeremy Banks and his wife, Erin Banks; her sister, Melissa Brady and her husband, Brandon Brady; many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Professionally, Jessica served as a Customer Service Manager at Gemini, where she was known for her dedication and genuine care for others.  She had a special gift for mentoring people and helping those around her grow and succeed.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoyed the simple things that made life meaningful.  She loved going for walks, camping, fishing, and she treasured the time spent with family and friends.  Her generous spirit, caring heart, and willingness to help others will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Jessica valued her faith and connection to her church communities and was a member of Spring Garden and St. Ansgar's Churches.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Donald Banks and Raymond Bjugan; her grandmother, Elaine Bjugan; her father Michael Banks; and her cousins, Hans Bjugan and Andrew Banks.

A visitation will be held on August 29, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm at Spring Garden Church.

Jessica's memory will live on through the people she loved, the lives she touched, the many moments of kindness and joy she shared with those around her.
