Joe and Sharon started their life together and married on November 19, 1969. They lived in Oregon until the moved to Minnesota with their children. They eventually settled in Austin where they opened Breckenridge group home. They loved spending time with their grandchildren and great grandchildren. They enjoyed going on vacation and camping with family and friends. Joe loved to go fishing. Sharon enjoyed shopping. They both enjoyed family gatherings playing games and cards. They often had fun going to the casino, playing Bingo, going to garage sales and auctions. They loved spending time together.

They were preceded in death by their parents, several siblings, their son, Joseph and grandson, Kyle.

They are survived by their daughter, Ruth (Tyrone) Moore; son, Josh DeClue; daughters-in-law, Michelle DeClue and Tonia DeClue; grandchildren, Joseph, Bethanie, Mitchel, Adinah, Jada, Danni, Casey, Sheyanne, and Red; great grandchildren, Raevah, Christopher, Allen, and Jasmine; Sharon's sister, Janie; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to invite everyone to celebrate their life at Lion's Park in Austin MN. Sunday, June 28, 2026 at noon.
