Joleen Hover

Joleen Marie Hover, of Shakopee, MN passed away on October 25, 2025, at Mayo Clinic Hospital - St Mary's, Rochester, MN at the age of 54.

Joleen was a devoted wife, mother, and friend whose greatest joy came from spending time with those she loved. Her warmth and generosity touched everyone around her, as she consistently placed the needs of others before her own. Joleen found deep comfort and strength in her faith, attending church regularly and embracing its community. She also delighted in the simple pleasures of life, especially shopping trips that often turned into treasured moments with loved ones. She will be remembered fondly for her sense of style, dignity, and humor. Her legacy of love, selflessness, unwavering devotion, and grace in the face of advisory will continue to inspire all who knew her.

Joleen Marie Hover was born July 29, 1971, in Madison, WI the daughter of Jim and Kathleen (Burley) Milsow. She married David Hover, Jr. in Bloomington, MN July 15, 1996. She is survived by her parents, Jim, and Kathleen; her husband, David; her son Hans (Mara);her grandchild, Lincoln; her brother Geoffrey (Nancy) Milsow, and loving nieces and nephew.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15 at Community of the Cross Lutheran Church, Bloomington, MN. Visitation will be at 1pm with the service at 2pm, followed by light refreshments. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Minnesota/Dakotas Chapter.
