Lexi Mauermann

Born into Heaven on July 8, 2025 With hearts broken yet held in faith, we share the devastating loss of our precious daughter, Lexi Rose Mauermann, who was unexpectedly born into Heaven on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 4:29 p.m. Lexi was full-term, perfect in every visible way, and deeply loved from the moment she was known. Just the day before, Lexi had a beautiful and reassuring visit with her doctor- her heart was strong, fluid levels ideal, and her tiny head positioned exactly as it should be. But sometime between that peaceful moment and her birth, her heartbeat quietly slipped away for reasons we may never understand. Though Lexi's time on earth was brief, she forever imprinted our souls. She was met with boundless love and prayers and will remain a light in our lives for all our days. Lexi Rose was never able to take a breath, yet she took ours away-with her beauty, her grace, and the depth of love she inspired. Lexi is lovingly survived by her devoted parents, Katie and Kevin Mauermann, who will carry her memory in their hearts every moment of every day. She is also survived by her grandparents, Randy and Darlene Mauermann, Bev and Bob Giannetti, and Maureen and Phil Major; her aunts and uncles, Tom and Jazmine Major, Brian and Angie Mauermann, and Deja Gagner; and her cousins, Kyle Mauermann and Linus Major, who were ready to shower her with love. A wake will be held on Thursday, July 17, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Maxon Family Cremation & Life Celebrations in Rochester, MN. A Catholic funeral will follow on Friday, July 18, at 11:00 a.m. at Pax Christi Church, also in Rochester. We entrust Lexi to God's eternal care, where we believe she is cradled in peace and surrounded by angels.
