Mark Arthur Stevens

Jan 29, 1967 — Aug 9, 2026

Mark Arthur Stevens, age 59, of Kelliher, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly at home, peacefully, on August 9, 2026.

Mark was born in 1967, in Winona, Minnesota, to Sandra "Sandie" Stevens and James "Jim"

Stevens. He was a loving brother to his sisters, Sheryl "Sheri"(Henry Hayes brother-in-law) and

Kristie (Jeff Grund brother-in-law) .

Mark graduated high school, and went on to earn his associate degree in Small Motor

Mechanics in 1987 from Winona Technical College. Mechanics and small motors were more

than just a career to Mark-they were his passion. He spent most of his working life doing what

he loved, working with his hands, and fixing just about anything that needed fixing. He even

owned his own shop in Rochester, MN and Winona, MN.

Throughout his life, Mark called many places home, including Winona, Minnesota City,

Rochester, Stewartville, and Kelliher, Minnesota. He was also a proud member of the

Boozefighters Motorcycle Club, where he shared his love of motorcycles, friendships, and the

open road.

Mark was married to Lynette Zimmerman from 1989 to 2006. His family was one of the most

important parts of his life. He leaves behind his children, Dushan Knezevich-Howard, Jaxxon (Harley) Stevens and Lillian

Stevens (Miles Stuve) and his Bonus Kids, Anthony Schoeppner and Nick Oeltjen.

He is also survived by his nephews, Jesse Hayes (Meghan), CJ Hayes (Johanna), Cassidy Milks

(Lindsay), Dallas Milks (Heather), Zack Hayes (Falecia), Marshall Stevens and Joe Grund, and

his niece, Annie Grund.

Mark also had a very special furry best friend, Behr. Behr was more than just a dog-he was

Mark's companion and his buddy. Mark loved giving Behr his "loveys," winking with him across

the room, and cuddling with him underneath the covers to make their own little fort. Their bond was truly special. Mark also had his grand-dog Jameson who he loved to take naps with.

Mark will be remembered for his big personality, his stories, his sense of humor, and his ability

to create memories that people will never forget. He was constantly telling stories, sharing

laughs, and making goofy memories with the people around him. Most of all, Mark cared deeply about the people in his life and had a way of making those around him feel like they
mattered.

Mark loved hunting, fishing, and farming. His guilty pleasure was a Marlboro Red, Bud Light,

Makers Mark and Mountain Dew, while spending time with his family. He was the life of the

party, and he knew how to do it, very well. He loved his family. That was his favorite thing, and

it was the best thing ever, he always made you feel loved.

A celebration of Mark's life will be held at Shar's Country Palace in Rochester, MN on August 30, 2026, from 1:00-4:00 pm.

As Mark's daughter, I would like to thank everyone on my dad's behalf who spent time with him

throughout his life. Thank you to everyone who laughed with him, listened to his stories, made

memories with him, and loved him for exactly who he was. Thank you for creating the awesome, great, ridiculous, and goofy memories that we will carry with us forever.

My dad cared about everyone who came into his life, and I know he would want us to remember him not only with sadness, but with laughter, stories, and all of the memories that made him who he was.

Dad, you will be missed more than words can ever say. Thank you for the memories, the stories, the laughs, and the love.

Until we meet again dad.
