"With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Penelope Dawn Iannone, lovingly known as Sweet Pea.
Penelope was born on September 15, 2025, and left this world far too soon on December 1, 2025, at just two months old.
Though Penelope's life was brief, it was filled with an abundance of love, kisses, smiles, and laughter. Despite her tiny size, she already had a big personality-sharing playful smirks, raising her expressive eyebrows, and charming everyone around her with her sweet, knowing looks. Her gentle spirit and joyful presence brought immeasurable light to our days.
Penelope is preceded in death by her grandfather Michael Iannone and older brother, Jack David Iannone, who we take comfort knowing is now holding her close.
She is survived by her loving parents, Coral and Matthew Iannone, her big brother, Logan Wolf Iannone, who adored her deeply. She also leaves behind her grandparents, Jeff and Kellie Gonzales, and Debbie and Bill Harris, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins who treasured her from the moment she arrived.
Penelope's time with us was short, but her impact is everlasting. She will forever remain our Sweet Pea-beautiful, spirited, and deeply loved.
Visitation will be held for family and friends as we honor her precious life on Monday, December 8, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Maxon Family Cremation and Life Celebrations
1624 37th Street NW, Rochester, Minnesota 55901.
We kindly ask those attending to wear pink or light pastel colors in honor of Penelope.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude for the love, support, and prayers offered during this unimaginable time."
