Raymond Smith

Ray was born to Marion and Ralph Smith on June 19th, 1966 in Rochester, Mn. Ray passed away in Mankato, Mn on November 28,2025 at the age of 59. Ray graduated from Mayo High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He spent the next four years proudly serving his country. Ray was honorably discharged and returned to Rochester where he pursued numerous careers. Due to health issues, Ray retired and spent time with his family and friends. Ray is survived by his Brother Steven, his Step Mother Launie all from Rochester, 9 nieces and nephews and 20 great nieces and nephews of which he adored. Ray was preceded in death by his Mother Marion, Father Ralph, Sisters Barbara, and Rebecca, and a grand nephew and great grand niece. A private family service and burial will take place at the Preston Veterans Cemetery, Preston, Mn at a later date. Memorial may be directed to The Salvation Army, Rochester, Mn in Ray's honor. Arrangements entrusted to Maxon Family Cremation and Life Celebrations, Rochester, Mn.
