Terry Joseph Rich, 78, passed away on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025, at Spring Valley Living Center after a long battle with heart disease.
Born May 20, 1947 in Rochester, Minnesota to Joe and Jean Rich. Terry graduated from John Marshall High School in 1965. Following graduation Terry joined the Army and spent most of his tour overseas in Germany. After the Army Terry started working for Crenlo Manufacturing. He later went to work for DS Manufacturing and worked there until he retired.
Terry meet his first wife Charlotte Horsmen while working at Crenlo Manufacturing. They had two sons Brian and Chad and later divorced. He married Jean Holmberg and they have a daughter Ashley. Terry loved fishing and outdoor sports. He loved going to stock car races, demolition derbies and watching old westerns on TV.
After retirement he became involved with our family tree. Spending many hours on the computer and visiting countless cemeteries.
Terry is survived by his wife, Jean (Holmberg) Rich; son, Chad (partner Ann Churchill); daughter, Ashley Rich; sister, Sandra (Russ) Schnell of Rochester.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Jean Rich and his son Brian Rich.
Terry will be buried with Military Honors at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston.
The Rich family wishes to thank everyone for their kindness, prayers and support they have received. It means more than words can say.
